Breadfruits Fruit And Bakery @ Desa Sri Hartamas

My cousin wanted to have big breakfast so I googled away for big breakfast places and came across this interesting place, Breadfruits in Desa Sri Hartamas, that serves nutritious and healthy offerings.

We arrived at Breadfruits at around 11am and there we had to wait for half an hour for a table as the whole restaurant was very crowded. Didn't expect a crowd as I have never heard of this place as of yet. Apparently, it has been around for quite some time already. Anyway, after being seated at our table, we had to wait for about another half an hour for our food.

So don't expect to come here on weekend mornings and get to be seated and served instantly. I would recommend you to go for brunch instead at around 1pm, because when we left at that time, there were a few empty tables and lesser people. Then you don't have to go through all that hassle of waiting.

Latte (RM6.80)

Satisfry Up (RM22.80) - choice of pork sausage or bacon, scrambled eggs or sunny side up, sauteed mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes, mashed potatoes and arugula, served with rye toast, choice of tea or coffee and a glass of fresh juice of the day.

I loved my Satisfry Up! The portion is not too big and the price is reasonable as coffee and juice are included. The ingredients are not too greasy, offering a healthy alternative to people. Loved the pork sausage and mashed potatoes the most, as it was very flavourful! Did not feel too full after having this and I managed to finish the food.

Roasted Banana Bacon French Toast with Passion Wild Honey (RM18.80)

The name says it all! Bacon in the combination does not make it weird. In fact I find this dish very refreshing. You should try it for yourself and you would see what the hype is all about!

It would be nicer if the portion would be a little bigger though.

As you can see, Breadfruits also sells fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs and wild honey. They also sell fresh juices. As we were seated there, we saw quite an amount of people approach the shop to buy a lot of juice and walking out of the shop. So we think you should try the juice as well! Heard that one of the more popular juices there is the Wild Honey and Passionfruit juice.

Breadfruits also serves pasta, salads and sandwiches that all sound very appetizing. Food prices at Breadfruits range from RM10-30. There will definitely be more frequent visits ahead!

Before I forget, there is 10% service charge dining at Breadfruits, but for take away orders, it does not apply.

Breadfruits is located beside a hotel with a yellow signboard, and in case if you are wondering about parking, you can always park at the parking lot in front for a certain amount of money! (or take the hassle to drive around to find parking, which can take quite awhile).
