La Yosh @ Hartamas Shopping Centre

Dont know where to go for dinner in Kuala Lumpur? Sick and tired of eating the same food? Or needing ideas for dinner date places in KL?

Yesterday, Melvin brought me and Kar Wai to go try out this western-Japanese fusion joint called La Yosh in Hartamas area. I am not familiar which is Plaza Damas or Hartamas Shopping Centre, but hopefully you will be able to get to this place! It is located right opposite TGI Fridays.

When we first walked in, I fell in love with the ambience. The lights were dim and each table had their own old school lamps of their own. It is a suitable place for you to bring your other half to dine and the prices are pretty reasonable too! Had a hard time picking what to order as everything looks and sounds so good! In the end we asked for the waiter's recommendation, and she recommended us to try the pasta.

Waiting time is a little longer, so we ordered two appetizers, garlic bread and chicken wings, and they were delightful! The chicken wings were seasoned quite well and as a result it was really tasty.

Soon after, our food came and of course we started snapping photos and dug in! It is definitely something different from the everyday western/Italian concept and the portion is big enough. Each plate of spaghetti costs about RM15-RM25, depending on what you order. Their spaghetti is still cheaper than Ben's or Delicious.

As for the drinks, we all had the Japanese ocha, which costs about RM4 for a glass, but it is of course refillable!
