The Red Beanbag @ Publika, Solaris Dutamas

Last Saturday, had brunch at The Red Beanbag in Publika with the high school bunch! Only took photos of my food as it was really crowded and I was really hungry. Arrived about 12pm ish and we had to be put on a waiting list as there was so many people who also wanted a taste of the yummy brunch Red Beanbag was serving!

Waiting time was about 10 to 20 minutes and we got a seat outside! As you can see from the pictures below, the lighting is quite good when you sit outside! Totally loved snapping photos here haha!

Signature Baked Eggs - 2 eggs cracked in a bowl of lamb, chicken and beef bratwurst topped with mozzarella cheese and baked to perfection. Served with toast. (RM18)

Super Awesome Fry-Up - choice of poached/over-easy/sunny side up/ scrambled eggs, beef/chicken sausage, beef bacon/turkey ham which is assembled with baked beans, hashbrowns, sauteed mushrooms, zucchinis, cherry tomatoes and toast. (RM26)

Skyscraper - Stack of fluffy pancakes drizzled with Canadian maple syrup and dark chocolate sauce, served with caramelized fruit. (RM17)

The Atlantic - House Smoked Salmon served with salmon pearls, wilted Australian baby spinach, sauteed mushrooms, french toast, drizzled with hollandaise sauce and served with two poached eggs. (RM22)

Chilli Gonzales - chilli scrambled eggs with crispy beef bacon, wrapped in tortilla and served with salsa, avocado mash and wild rocket (RM20)

Are you drooling yet?

I know I am, in the middle of the night right now.

Haha, this is my 2nd visit to Red Beanbag and apparently they have sort of revamped their menu. There are now two sides of the food menu, the DARK side, or the LIGHT side, which one would you prefer to be on?

I had the signature baked eggs which in my opinion, is rave worthy and up to standard. When the dish arrived at our table it smelt really good and I dug in immediately! Loved the generous amount of bratwurst. The portion is quite filling and easily finished by one person, leaving you yearning for more of the yummy egg goodness, but on the other hand, your tummy tells you that you had enough.

We ordered the pancakes to share and they were good! I think it is pretty comparable to the ones at Mr and Ms Cafe at Oasis Damansara! Here, the pancakes were fluffy and the maple syrup was not too diluted or too sweet! Loved the caramelized bananas and will definitely come back to satisfy my pancake cravings anytime as it is near to home for me!

Definitely recommend this place if you are up to a good Sunday brunch or some catch up with your friends along with breakfast. Good food served with not much of a wait, makes the priced paid for it worth it.

Left this place with a really happy tummy!
