Singapore Part 3

Hi all! I sincerely apologize for the lack of proper updates! If you were to follow my Twitter , I think I tweet more about what I do everyday or how I feel wtf. Fail blogger!

Anyways, I am here to update you on Singapore! If you want to read from the start of the trip, here is Part 1 and Part 2!

Part 3 is all about the last day of Singapore!

Woke up and everyone was kind of like, "Sigh, it's the last day in Singapore!"

Waited for everyone to get ready and the people were bickering over what time should we leave for the airport. I think we wasted quite an amount of time on that. Checked out and headed to the MRT station if I am not mistaken, because we wanted to go sightseeing at Marina Bay Sands! The itinerary of the day was by Terry! I think he did his research even before coming to Singapore! He wanted to go to so many places, but we only managed to go to some, which was more than half of the list I guess!

This was after alighting from Marina Bay MRT station, if I am not mistaken. We had to walk quite a distance to some park? Not park lah, but some area near The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands!

Illi and May hiding under the shade.
Us at the Olympic Walk! Aini too the photo!
Look at the amount of glassy skyscrapers. What an amazing sight.
The walk to The Shoppes at MBS!
Had to walk in the scorching sun, and I thank god that I was wearing long sleeve! I didn't want to get sunburnt, and partly also because I am already so dark from walking from parking to college every single day!

When we first walked in to The Shoppes at MBS!
This fountain called the Rain Oculus was not working! I think it was under maintance or something, correct me if I am wrong.
After walking around inside, we decided to head outside. The first thing we saw was the Art & Science Museum and there was an area full of water lilys outside!

Saw that this Harry Potter exhibition was going on and so we went inside to have a look, only to find out that the ticket price was so expensive, for a Malaysian. Kiam siap mode! There were other cheaper exhibitions like the Andy Warhol one, but for a group of teenagers who don't know much about art, we did not think it was worth it so we decided to walk around and snap photos instead!

The esplanade, durian shaped building!
Me and the esplanade!
Me and some thorny bridge and the eye of Singapore!
Me and the girls!

After all that photo taking outside, we were sweaty as hell. Went back inside to the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. We walked around and came across TWG (The Wellness Group) Tea Saloon! We were not too hungry so we just look see, and the other girls got themselves macaroons!

If you are wondering, there is one located in Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur! The prices are pretty reasonable and the maracoons here are cheaper than the ones in Singapore after conversion $2 in Singapore, and RM4 each in Malaysia! Personally, I love the raspberry, mint and lemon ones!

Ok, after that we walked over to the other TWG shop, there were a few alone in Marina Bay Sands and got ourselves ice cream which was for $5 a scoop! We were willing to spend that amount of money because it looked that good, and believe me, it tasted that good too! Try the creme bulee flavour!

Me, and my shop!
Me and terry and the tiny canal, something like the one in Macau, but even tinier.
After that, we separated into two cabs to head to the Merlion. So we reached some area where Marina Bay Sands, the exhibition centre, the ferris wheel was  DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF US! The view was breathtaking! Snapped quite a number of photos here while waiting for the other group, Aini, May and Illi, to arrive.

The boys went to the toilet while we were trying to find each other. We told Illi that we were waiting at Starbucks! After a while, they said they were at Starbucks too, and we couldn't find them nor the merlion. We thought the cab drive dropped us at the wrong place wtf.

Walked further upwards, only to find the merlion under renovation. COME ON YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Singapore cab driver, Y U NO TELL US IT IS UNDER RENOVATION?! But come to the thought of it, if I was a cab driver in Malaysia and the tugu negara was under renovation, I WOULDN'T KNOW TOO! Anyway the cab fee was $5. WE PAID $5 to come and see you, merlion. Y U DO THIS TO ME?!!?!?!?!??!

WHY?!

Sigh, in the end, we only  took picture with the mini merlion... Good enough.

And then only we found Illi and the other girls at another Starbucks. -_____- So near also need two Starbucks?! Hahaha, but that was funny though. Walked over to the Esplanade and Marina square to do some shopping!

While we were shopping, the boys went to explore the fountain of wealth, but it was not working too... Or maybe it works at night? It is just one piece of brown metal in the day.

After that, went back to Studio M hotel to collect our bags and took a maxi cab to the airport! At the airport , we walked around and I bought myself a mini Longchamp bag! Hohoho. The collection is expanding. Longchamp is easy to carry around, and it is good for the eyes too, imo! :)

Hahaha, when we were all in the departure lounge, something funny happened. The announcement system came one and Terry was like "MOMENT OF TRUTH GUYS! THE FLIGHT IS GOING TO BE DELAYED!" because before that he was saying the flight might be delayed, and it really got delayed! Went outside and sat at Starbucks and played Uno with the bunch, before we headed home to KL....

It was overall, a fun trip! How I wish there was a next one! Where should we go next? Hmm.
